Delmara's News: We're going to be unleashing the plot board on you all on Monday. Jolty and Matt-kun will be the main mods for that, since Mori-kun is about to go on vacation, and then is moving after that. However, Mori shall be kicking around the boards for a while yet, and fielding PMs, and writing up Gym Leader Profiles and the like, so have no fear. Sundav's News: Sundav disappeared from Delmara mysteriously last year. The legendary Ho-oh was kidnapped by a (possibly) human, named Dominus. Dominus seems to be working with a fallen legendary named Drakai, and so far has managed to lock Sundav in a cage, imprison her legendary powers in a crystal, and he's started to turn pokemon around Delmara evil. Fun stuff. The wishing well apparently had a swamp at the bottom of it for a while. Brave trainers went in, fought far too many pokemon, faced an evil gyarados -- and all they got was a crummy book. Perhaps the prize will be better when Sundav finds the location of something else Drakai and Dominus don't want to lose.

This adoption center is more busy than the one in Kestra city, mainly because many pokemon get separated from their trainers in the park. It's run by a kindly middle aged woman, Jane Fiora, and her family. Her adopted son, Hiro, helps her at the counter, while her husband is the Pokemon Control man for Avatare.

Pokemon Looking For Friends:

Spearow
Name: ? ? ?
Gender: Female
Level: 6
Moves: Peck, Growl, Leer
Special Ability: Keen Eye - Accuracy cannot be reduced. If this pokemon is out of her pokeball, the ammount of low-leveled battles decreases.
Personality: Scrappy and tough, this pokemon is a fighter, and very agressive. She had a trainer, but doesn't talk to people, except to snap insults at them.
Reason for Being in the AC: She was found in the park, on a tree. After a lot of questioning, she revealed that she had indeed been captured by a trainer and had flown away.
Price: 1300 PD for an outright adoption, 300 PD fine if you can prove that you were the original trainer

Meowth
Name: ? ? ?
Gender: Male
Level: 2
Moves: Scratch, Growl
Special Ability: Oblivious - Cannot be attracted
Personality: He's only just been born. He's very confused and just wants some affection.
Reason for Being in the AC: He was dropped off by a breeder, as unfortunately useless, being a male meowth, and not having good conformation in any case. Recently neutered.
Price: 700 PD

Houndour
Name: ? ? ?
Gender: Female
Level: 12
Moves: Leer, Ember, Howl, Smog
Special Ability: Flash Fire - Revives health when bathed in flame
Personality: Rough and territorial -- but veryin interested in the well being of children.
Reason for Being in the AC: She's from one of the feral dog packs roaming the back alleys of Avatare. Caught because she wasn';t fast enough in making a getaway, it has since been discovered that she's pregnant.
Price: 7000 PD (you'll be getting her pups, too)

Growlithe
Name: ? ? ?
Gender: Male
Level: 7
Moves: Bite, Roar, Ember
Special Ability: Intimidate - Lowers opponent's attack power when first used in battle
Personality: He's the scapegoat of any pack. Although slightly larger than the average growlithe, he's used to taking the blame for things, and submitting meekly.
Reason for Being in the AC: He was caught out in the park with a feral pack of growlithe. He was the only one who couldn't get away.
Price: 1400 PD

Snubbull
Name: ? ? ?
Gender: Female
Level: 7
Moves: Tackle, Charm, Tail Whip, Fire Fang
Special Abilities: Run Away - Runs easily from pokemon battles, and Oblivious - Cannot be attracted
Personality: This coddled pet has gone feral. Although arrogant, and entrenched in the belief that she should be the center of attention, she doesn't trust humans.
Reason for Being in the AC: She is an escaped pet from a breeding couple. The couple came for her a few months back, but they decided that her personality had been so altered by living on the streets with the other packs that it would be better to let a trainer take her. Their 300 PD fine has been deducted from her price. Spayed by the AC.
Price: 1100 PD
