We're going to be unleashing the plot board on you all on Monday. Jolty and Matt-kun will be the main mods for that, since Mori-kun is about to go on vacation, and then is moving after that. However, Mori shall be kicking around the boards for a while yet, and fielding PMs, and writing up Gym Leader Profiles and the like, so have no fear.
Sundav disappeared from Delmara mysteriously last year. The legendary Ho-oh was kidnapped by a (possibly) human, named Dominus. Dominus seems to be working with a fallen legendary named Drakai, and so far has managed to lock Sundav in a cage, imprison her legendary powers in a crystal, and he's started to turn pokemon around Delmara evil. Fun stuff. The wishing well apparently had a swamp at the bottom of it for a while. Brave trainers went in, fought far too many pokemon, faced an evil gyarados -- and all they got was a crummy book. Perhaps the prize will be better when Sundav finds the location of something else Drakai and Dominus don't want to lose.

Rules (Edit: 7/20) « Thread Started on Aug 5, 2005, 1:30pm »
1. No powerplaying or godmoding.
2. This is a journey with your Pokemon, remember that! Don't go too fast, take your time, there's plenty of it.
3. There will be lists of catchable Pokemon on every Route. Remember to read them before catching a Pokemon.
4. If I find that you broke these rules, you will get a warning the first time. The second time it happens we'll need to have a small chat. Any more, and it won't be very pretty. (I can turn very evil when I want to.)
5. Read all rules please (there are special rules for bio applications).
6. Pokemorphs are not allowed unless you've got my special permission. (PM me to get it!)
7. No legendaries are allowed to be caught or even seen for now. The only exceptance to that is Sundav, and she is catured in another dimension by some very freakish people. Read the "Broken Well" and "Shadow Swamp Dungeon" threads to see what happens.
8. Gym battles are preformed between two different people. The challenger, and the person filling in for the gym leader. Any mod may fill in for the gym leader.
9. For battles, no move may be avoided without special help from attacks like Double Team. This is to prevent godmoding.
10. Have fun! That's the most important part of all this!
Special Note: There are no HMs in Delmara. Cut, Surf, Strength, etc. exist as TMs. Your character is allowed to swim (you're no going to be crossing a huge lake or the sea without help, but you should be able to swim anywhere else). If you want to surf on a pokemon, it has to be one that can swim, and can bear your weight. I'm sorry, but unless you're anorexic a squirtle can't take you across the sea. Any boulders that need to be moved probably can be moved by a concerted effort of all pokemon, or a psychic type using telekinesis, or one of the supper powered fighting types like machop. Just common sense solutions to problems.

Yes. Any accuracy modifier does it. Sand attack, double team -- not sure if there are any others, although I suppose most of the weather modifications, like sandstorm, would do it, too.
With one hit KOs like Horn Drill and Fissure, there is a 50% change to dodge it, no accuracy modifiers needed.
